Whittier, Kodiak Island

Last Friday, February 23, I heard the word Whittier just before I woke up. Actually, I think that’s what woke me up. As I’m sure is the case with many others, whenever I hear something immediately prior to waking, or if what I heard was the cause of being woken up in the first place, it is usually of some significance and not to be ignored.

We have discussed Whittier, Alaska in the past so it’s not something foreign to me. That was last May though, and I don’t recall hearing of anything going on there lately, and we haven’t discussed it since. It did come up in the TomKat blog, that could be why I heard it. Something tells me there may be more to it.

Whittier became known to us last May when Purpleaura had a creepy experience there during an Alaskan cruise.

Last stop was Whittier. We had to travel to Anchorage to get a flight back to Los Angeles via Seattle. As we were traveling I had the weirdest vibes on the freeway from Whittier to the Anchorage area. I heard the name Hoffman again and got weird vibes about the military and underground bases. Some crazy stuff out there. All week it’s been quiet and suddenly I’m getting visions from this area. So about 5 minutes into it, I looked up and saw Huffman Road and the tour guide is talking about the military base at the same time.

Purpleaura sent this link on May 27, 2006:

The Whittier Glacier near Whittier was named for the American poet John Greenleaf Whittier in 1915.

During World War II the United States Army constructed a port and railroad terminus near the glacier and named the port Whittier. The spur of the Alaska Railroad to Whittier was completed in 1943 and the port became the entrance for United States soldiers into Alaska. The port remained an active army facility until 1960.

The two huge buildings that dominate Whittier were built after World War II. The Hodge Building (now Begich Towers) was built for housing soldiers and the Buckner Building, completed in 1953, was called the "city under one roof". It was once the largest building in Alaska. The port remained an active Army facility until 1960.

Whittier was incorporated in 1969. The Begich Building is now a condominium, and houses nearly all of Whittier's residents.

Begich Towers and the fact that it houses nearly all the residents of Whittier gives me an uneasy feeling. I thought Begich must be an Inuit word, but it sounded German to me. Perhaps because when you read it fast it looks a lot like Reich. In any case, it brings up images of detainment camps.

After reading the following, I’m assuming Begich Towers was named after Nick Begich:

Mark Begich (born 1962) is an American Democratic politician and the current mayor of Anchorage, Alaska.

Born in Anchorage at the old Providence Hospital, Begich is the city's first Alaskan-born mayor. He is the son of U.S. Representative Nick Begich, who died in a plane crash with U.S. House Majority Leader Hale Boggs in 1972, and Pegge Begich. The fourth child of six, he has two sisters and three brothers. His paternal grandfather John Begich immigrated to the United States from Croatia in 1911.

Tesla is also from Croatia and 1911 is another one of those triggers like 59432 and 118.

Purpleaura experienced some peculiar ailments after returning from her trip. Weird buzzing in her temples, dizziness, vertigo, a feeling of not being able to stay in her body, blurred vision, swaying and motion sickness, among others.

I concluded she had gone through a time warp.

Miss Scarlet ~ May 27, 2006

I'm just re-reading your email about when you got sick and you thought it was motion sickness. Did this start on the ship or was it on the way home in a plane? I'm wondering because I just got a vision of the movie the Philadelphia Experiment. Maybe you went through a time warp?

That was an interesting find. I said in the Philadelphia Experiment blog I only referenced that movie as it related to Tesla. This is by no means an act of dishonesty or an attempt to pull the wool over anybody’s eyes, but a simple case of blurred memory. I find it odd that it came up again so soon.

Because of the Maria-Earthquake-Tesla-HAARP thing, whenever I “hear” or dream of anything to do with Alaska, I think earthquake first and foremost. The search on Whittier + earthquake uncovered links on the Great Alaska Quake on Good Friday, 1964:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The second largest earthquake of the 20th Century and the largest ever recorded in the northern hemisphere, occurred in Alaska on March 27, 1964 (3/27/64 05:36:14.0 p.m., local time; 3/28/64 03:36:14.0 GMT). The earthquake had a magnitude 9.2 (Moment Magnitude) and caused extensive damage in Alaska. Local tsunami waves triggered by this earthquake were extremely destructive in Prince William Sound and other areas of Alaska. A Pacific-wide tsunami was generated which was destructive in Western Canada, Oregon, California and the Hawaiian islands. It was recorded by tide gages throughout the Pacific. Even tide gauges in Cuba and Puerto Rico recorded sea level oscillations from that event. A Tsunami Warning was issued by the Tsunami Warning System in Honolulu for Hawaii and the West coast of United States and Canada. Regional Tsunami Warning Centers in Japan, Chile, the former Soviet Union and elsewhere, issued warnings. Combined, the earthquake and tsunami took 125 lives (tsunami 110, earthquake 15), and caused about $311 million in property loss (in 1964 dollars).
At Whittier, the waves reached a height of 31.7 m above low tide and were particularly destructive, killing thirteen (13) of the 70 inhabitants and causing great damage to the small boat harbor. The waves destroyed the railroad ramp handling towers at the army pier, the Alaska Railroad depot, the Union Oil Company tanks, the wharf and buildings, two saw mills and numerous frame dwellings.
Tsunamis caused by the Good Friday Earthquake drove a 2x6 plank through this 10-ply truck tire at Whittier, Alaska
So the town of Whittier began as an army base in 1943 and remained an active army “facility” until 1960. 4 years later it very nearly disappears off the face of the earth. Something’s up with that.
This is not the first time a dream has led to this earthquake and tsunami. The other dream was about Kodiak Island.
Miss Scarlet’s Dream ~ June 7, 2006 ~ 9:20am
BWB and I were in Alaska, I don't know how I knew that because we in the middle of very dense forest and there was absolutely nothing to make me know it was Alaska. We were walking up a hill on dirt path with huge coniferous trees all around, it was dark but we had no trouble seeing where we were going.
As we walked we kept wanting to make diversions off the path, but we knew there were Kodiak bears in the forest, tons of them, and that they were watching us. We couldn't see them and we weren't scared of them, more of a respect thing. Kind of like they were allowing us on this path, we shouldn't take advantage by snooping in the woods. I "thought" to BWB, that although these are bears, they aren't "our" bears and this was not our territory. We were invited guests. Then there was something about a mountain that looked like a gigantic salt crystal, and that's all I remember.
Another place I've never heard of:
Kodiak Island is a large island on the south coast of Alaska, separated from the Alaska mainland by the Shelikof Strait. It is the largest island in Alaska and the second largest island in the United States, after the Big Island of Hawaii
Kodiak Island is mountainous and heavily forested in the north and east
The first Westerners to settle on the island were Russians explorers under Grigory Shelikhov, who founded a Russian settlement on Kodiak Island at Three Saints Bay
The island was also hit by the 1964 Good Friday Earthquake and tsunami, which destroyed much of the town.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kodiak_Island
Since the entire Earth vibrated as a result of the quake, minor effects were felt worldwide: several fishing boats were sunk in Louisiana and water sloshed in wells in South Africa.
That’s one scary quake.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also learned Kodiak bears were exclusive to Kodiak Island, and most of the island is a refuge. That makes me fairly certain we were indeed on that island in that dream.

The Kodiak bear (Ursus arctos middendorffi) is a unique subspecies of the brown bear. Kodiak bears live exclusively on the islands in the Kodiak Archipelago and have been isolated from other bears for about 12,000 years.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kodiak_bear
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Besides all the bears, we also saw a crystal as big as a mountain. I’m guessing the Department of Defense does not set up camp in any old place for any old reason. I can certainly understand the logistics of acquiring the second largest island in the nation to house your army, that’s just good defensive strategy. So why does this keep nagging at me?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7 Statues. They have 4 and are looking for the other 3. Advanced technology.

What if these “statues” are really crystals? Not golden due to their composition, but due to their ultimate importance? Giant crystals. The biggest crystal radios you’ve ever seen. What if you could intercept the signals directed at these beacons? Intercepting communications transmissions to attain information is the oldest trick in the book. It’s what every secret government entity in the world is all about. So why wouldn’t they try it outside this world?

Were the earthquakes and hurricane caused to unearth the treasures, or do the treasures assist in directing the beams that create the weather?

Well, here’s my guess. The 4 statues that have been located were in Alaska, uncovered after the great quake and tsunami, the Bay of Bengal, uncovered after the Boxing Day quake and tsunami, and the Gulf of Mexico, uncovered after Katrina. I feel the fourth is in the Grand Canyon and was probably discovered first.

So where might the other three be? I’m thinking Casablanca, Mariana Trench and the North Pole perhaps. See, I figure HAARP has been melting the polar ice caps for years. That’s the cause of global warming. There’s a treasure up there that needs to be uncovered.

And finally, maybe I didn’t hear Whittier at all. Maybe I should have put some money down on Forest Whittaker to take home the best actor Oscar.
