North to Alaska

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay people we all have to work together on this because exactly what I had feared would happen may be starting to happen.
In my books it’s a given we will become the North American Union, or already have, it just hasn’t been put into the final stages yet. That’s the part I’m worried about. How do we get the people to agree? Well you don’t, so go directly ahead to plan B.
The “dry run” for this plan was Katrina. As I stated in another blog, never in my life have I seen people turn on each other in the aftermath of a disaster such as they did in New Orleans. Something went terribly wrong and I believe part of that something was an experiment to determine the best course of action to turn normally peaceful people into raving lunatics ready to kill the next guy they see.
The first time I played Risk, a person who is normally kind and generous told me to stick with him, we would take control together. Since I didn’t know what I was doing I listened. Every time I had an opportunity to move into another territory he discouraged it saying he had a better plan. And there was no talk of attacking each other’s territory, no sir, we were a team. He took me out the first chance he got. Mr Harper this is not a game of Risk and I would hope in your position you read people a little better than I did.
When you really think about it one union isn’t such a bad idea. Between Canada, the U.S. and Mexico we have a vast amount of resources, joining the three countries would only reduce shipping and excise fees. If it ended there. The guy who wants to run the whole shootin’ match is what’s got me the most concerned.
Let’s start with what happened with Mexico. You take a long oppressed people working for crap wages (if working at all), whether it be in their own sweatshops via outsourcing or in the U.S. Try to put yourselves in their shoes for a minute. You’re living in poverty with no future, no chance of a secure job, nothing to feed your children and no hopes of them getting an education or the health care they need. Then some recruiter comes to your town or village encouraging you to move to the U.S. with promises of FREE FREE FREE everything. They go to the U.S. because somebody told them to, like one of those smarmy used car salesmen types.
The recruiter tells of a dreamland where health care is free, jobs abundant and if you work really hard you may even become rich beyond your wildest dreams. Of course the people would assume they are welcome in that country because somebody told them they would be. Half of them probably don’t even realize the anger and rage most Americans feel towards their presence, they’re under the impression they’re doing a good thing. Nobody wanted those jobs right? The recruiter was nothing less than an angel of mercy to these people, so they make their way to the U.S. and do exactly as they’ve been told to do.
The end result is the government elite does nothing because the government elite isn’t going without a single fucking thing for this or any other reason. This situation has only made their lives better, (bigger profits, more soldiers), and is working exactly as they had hoped. That’s why nothing is being done to better secure the border.
However, the people who are going without feel a need to take matters into their own hands and voila you have a war. It starts in the classrooms and hospital emergency rooms, eventually moves into the streets then the whole city, well, you see the point. It’s a plague of a different sort but a plague all the same. And who will win a war between Mexico and the U.S.? Congratulations on the acquisition of your new nation Mr Bush.
Please don’t take it out on the Mexicans personally. Those people are not the cause of this, they’re no different than you and me just trying to survive. Now they (the They-sayers of course) have a good portion of Americans loathing anybody with a Spanish accent or an accent from any place even close to the Middle East. No matter how open minded and non-racist you think you are, every single time you encounter a person from the Middle East, pictures of the World Trade Towers will cross your mind. Then you’ll think about the person(s) you know personally who were directly affected by the tragedy. Might even be you yourself. Then the feelings of contempt will surface and you might like to punch that person in the head. The other person will feel your emotions, contempt is really difficult to mask, then they’ll be on the defensive. And now you have two enemies due to an event not caused by this person or their people. Mission accomplished.
What should be happening in these situations is a mutual respect for no other reason than that person is a member of the human race just like you. First and foremost. Everybody has a story to tell and you don’t know their story and they don’t know yours. It is possible to conduct daily business without religion or politics coming up in the conversation. Ahmed who owns the local service station is not necessarily related to Osama Bin Laden and does not necessarily share the same views. And remember who controls the media and who implanted those ideas into your head in the first place. Chat about the weather, talk about the kids or the wife, discuss your car. Leave all that other stuff in the trunk and then take it to the dump where it belongs. Let it fester and stew in a place where it can rot away into nothingness.
Okay they say, that country seemed a little too easy, most Canadians have a pretty good life, its not going to be so simple this time. Cold, sick, terrorized and hungry people are much less problematic. We’ll have to appeal to their minds, specifically the ego. We’ll create a sense of superiority between both sides and let the chips fall where they may.
Having grown up in a border town and employed in the summer tourism industry where it was in my job description to serve wealthy Americans, I can assure you as a rebellious teenager I despised those Americans and subsequently all Americans. That was before I learned not to judge an entire race based on a few bad apples. And got out of the house more.
A lot of Canadians love nothing more than sitting around talking about how stupid Americans are. I too engaged in this pastime until I realized that makes us the arrogant ones and no different than who we were complaining about to begin with. We’re not smarter, we’re not better, we’re all just people trying to live the best life we can.
Patriotism was planted in our minds beginning with the Tower of Babel. There’s not a thing wrong with being an active participant on the team, it’s when that monster Competition comes out to play when things start getting nasty. As far as I’m concerned, every single contest should be judged by the accomplishments of each team individually, not one against the other. For example, I used to be an avid Scrabble player and unless I was playing against Mr or Mrs Competition did I even care who won the match. I must admit I did enjoy kicking Competition’s ass if his head got too big to leave the house. Funny how all the big scoring words just magically appeared on my tile rack in those situations. I experienced a far greater pleasure, satisfaction and sense of accomplishment doing nothing more than trying to beat my own personal records. So did most of my opponents since I don’t like playing with Competition and avoid him at all costs. I even played regularly with a person who asked that we not keep score at all and I was perfectly fine with that. Strip Scrabble is another story altogether.
Canada is a proud country like any other. We have our heritage and traditions, our beer and our hockey, Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties and Newfie jokes. Why would we give up these treasures willingly? We would not. Yeah Disney World is fun, the Grand Canyon breathtaking and New York City amazing. But it’s not our stuff. There’s nothing wrong with that stuff, is just isn’t ours. Like I tell people who constantly try to mould and shape me into exact replicas of themselves, its not that there’s anything wrong with you, it’s just a lot easier to be me.
If we could join these 3 countries without losing our customs (as in practices and beliefs, not the border guarding entity) and being forced into others, that would be super. Unfortunately history has not shown that to be the case, most who attempt to accomplish this type of existence have other motives. The only way I see the U.S. (GW) taking control of Canada is the only way he knows, shock and awe. The big problem with that is, although we’ve had our differences in the past, it doesn’t seem likely either of us would launch a weapon at each other. If indeed we had a weapon to launch. Either a war between the two nations will have to rise up “on its own” or we will have to be threatened and/or attacked and admit we need the U.S. to protect us.
The bottom line is I’ve seen a couple of threads on a favourite conspiracy site intended to do nothing other than cause animosity between Canadians and Americans. I’m concerned because we’ve been seeing a war coming between the two countries for some time.
Miss Scarlet ~ June 5, 2006
This is freaking me out all the stuff that seems to be leading to a conflict between the US and Canada, (see Tecumseh blog) and somehow Britain's now been thrown in the mix. Sounds like the war of 1812 all over again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And of course on the threads in question all the idiots on both sides have crawled out of their sludge, flinging crap back and forth like morons. Please don’t let them do this. They are trying to create dissent until it grows out of control and we’re killing each other over color and colour. It’s just a “u”, no reason to get the shotgun out.

Do not judge these people because they voted for a lunatic. They are not responsible for GW being in office, he got there because it was his turn. There hasn’t been a fair and honest election in either country ever. If you vote because it’s a good place to chat with neighbours and talk politics for fun, go for it. If you’re under the impression you have anything to do with who gets elected, perhaps the comfort of your bed or any other favourite sleeping place would be best.

Stop arguing over whose country is better or whose commander-in-chief is the lesser of two evils or I’ll be forced to take you both out to the bike racks after school. Quite simply the two of them are nuts and not worth the grief. Don’t hate an entire nation because they won the World Series and somebody told you baseball is the most important thing in your life and without that pennant your nation is no longer whole and your very security at risk. It is and you’re not. I have faith in your ability to care for the Stanley Cup and I would hope you have faith in our ability to take care of your coveted trophy. Next year we can switch back again.

Get to know your neighbours without all the bullshit. Don’t treat an American like an idiot just because that’s what you’ve been led to believe they are. Media blitzes over things like Miss Teen America happen for a reason. That one person is not a representation of the entire country. Just as the American and Ahmed, you will automatically assume any American you meet is a moron and speak to them thusly. If they are not a moron, which in my experience has been the case more often than not, they will be seriously offended by your behaviour. Now you have 2 more enemies. And they’ll tell 2 friends and those friends will tell 2 friends and that is precisely how a mental plague is spread. Mission accomplished.

The stupidest thing got me thinking on this, so many times when I downloaded software or signed up for a particular service I was always asked to choose what country I live in. Often Canada was not even an option so I had to pick the U.S. in order to communicate in English. It seemed to me some companies were seeing into the future or perhaps already knew the future and were saving some time having to inevitably recode all their websites.

As far as attacks on our country go, I’m thinking the Arctic is the place that will instigate all that. And I maintain there is no such thing as global warming as we have been led to believe and take blame for. 50 billion bags of garbage do not even come close to the technology being used to melt the polar ice caps. There’s oil in them thar hills and who knows what else and simply no other way to get to it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here’s how we saw things coming down last year. Keep in mind while reading Purpleaura’s dream that at the time she had no idea who Stephen Harper was or that we had just undergone a federal “election” 5 days earlier. And it’s certainly not because she’s a stupid American and doesn’t care what happens outside the U.S. Far from it. Like me she just doesn’t care what happens in politics, it really is a non subject to us. Neither of us pays much attention to any election and I couldn’t tell you the names of most world leaders other than the ones who constantly star in mainstream media.
In this dream a woman was trying to find out who her father was. I was helping her and found what appeared to be a birth certificate, did some checking and suddenly a man’s name came up, Ted. I had a last name and shoot I can’t remember but I’ve been having Harper come up a lot lately. The interesting part was he lived in Canada in a place beginning with “A” which I don’t remember.
I found a man and went to check him out, he was a big man as in big wide shoulders, but when I asked him he said his name wasn’t Ted. Suddenly I’m back in a room with the lady and she has printed off something on the computer. She said, “I’ve found him, his name is Ted ? and he lives in Canada”. I am thinking to myself, “Yep I know and have been there” and remember thinking I knew it was him even though he said it wasn’t. Then I woke up.
We just elected Steven Harper as Prime Minister and he’s from Alberta. I wonder if you've uncovered a scandal in our government? Is some woman going to come forward and say she had his son? I feel like this guy is going to get us into big trouble.
I read a short time ago that an American bought the entire town of Churchill Manitoba for $7. That troubled me a great deal.
As Polar Ice Turns to Water, Dreams of Treasure Abound
By CLIFFORD KRAUSS, STEVEN LEE MYERS, ANDREW C. REVKIN and SIMON ROMERO
Published: October 10, 2005
CHURCHILL, Manitoba - It seems harsh to say that bad news for polar bears is good for Pat Broe. Mr. Broe, a Denver entrepreneur, is no more to blame than anyone else for a meltdown at the top of the world that threatens Arctic mammals and ancient traditions and lends credibility to dark visions of global warming.
Still, the newest study of the Arctic ice cap - finding that it faded this summer to its smallest size ever recorded - is beginning to make Mr. Broe look like a visionary for buying this derelict Hudson Bay port from the Canadian government in 1997. Especially at the price he paid: about $7.
By Mr. Broe's calculations, Churchill could bring in as much as $100 million a year as a port on Arctic shipping lanes shorter by thousands of miles than routes to the south, and traffic would only increase as the retreat of ice in the region clears the way for a longer shipping season.
With major companies and nations large and small adopting similar logic, the Arctic is undergoing nothing less than a great rush for virgin territory and natural resources worth hundreds of billions of dollars. Even before the polar ice began shrinking more each summer, countries were pushing into the frigid Barents Sea, lured by undersea oil and gas fields and emboldened by advances in technology. But now, as thinning ice stands to simplify construction of drilling rigs, exploration is likely to move even farther north.
Last year, scientists found tantalizing hints of oil in seabed samples just 200 miles from the North Pole. All told, one quarter of the world's undiscovered oil and gas resources lies in the Arctic, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The polar thaw is also starting to unlock other treasures: lucrative shipping routes, perhaps even the storied Northwest Passage; new cruise ship destinations; and important commercial fisheries.
Remember the other day I said I was worried about Cheney and Alberta's oil? The next day I read a story about the U.S. investigating in the Arctic, which supposedly belongs to Canada but the U.S. refuses to accept that. Stephen Harper’s first order of business is protecting the Arctic from the U.S. With what may I ask? Polar bears? Maybe the "A" you were picking up on is the Arctic?
Harper tells U.S. to butt out
Murray Brewster, Canadian Press
Published: January 27, 2006
OTTAWA -- U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins clearly struck a nerve with prime minister-designate Stephen Harper when he criticized the Conservative plan to bolster Canada's presence in the Arctic.
''I want to address one other question before I go,'' Harper said Thursday in response to an unasked question as a lengthy session with reporters wound down.
''I've been very clear in the campaign that we have significant plans for national defence and for defence of our sovereignty, including Arctic sovereignty. It is the Canadian people we get our mandate from, not the U.S. ambassador.''
This feels like big trouble to me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well obviously something happened to turn Harper around because the U.S. and Canada aren’t the issue in the Arctic anymore, now it’s the Russians. Reminds me of the Risk game, just stick with me and we’ll take these bastards down together. And when you aren’t looking we’ll take you down too.

OK freaky, I was just looking at addresses trying to find something that rang a bell and 2 more letters came to me. I remembered the beginning of the name was either Arc or Ark, then I checked my email in between and the first thing you wrote was about the Arctic. Ok this is freaky and the Harper name is another freaky part but if he’s named Stephen then who is Ted? Is that his name or is this 2 separate people tied by the Arctic? Here’s a bit on the name Ted:

The boy's name Ted is pronounced ted. It is of English origin. Short form of Theodore (Greek) "God's gift" or Edward (Old English) "wealth protector."

I thought to Google 2 things, Ted and Arctic and what came up is Senator Ted Stevens. And what is Ted Stevens doing? Interestingly enough he’s in charge of drilling.

When he is discussing issues that are especially important to him (such as opening up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling), Stevens wears a necktie with The Incredible Hulk

On December 21, 2005, Senator Stevens said that the vote to block drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge "has been the saddest day of my life," despite the fact that his first wife died in a 1978 plane crash which he survived.

Bush plan for Alaska oil drilling blocked

Published: Thursday, December 22, 2005

WASHINGTON - Democrats in the U.S. Senate succeeded yesterday in blocking White House-backed legislation to open Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling, sparing the Canadian government – at least temporarily -- a showdown with the Bush administration over the controversial plan.

Amid heated rhetoric and threats of political retribution, Republican supporters of Arctic drilling failed to get the 60 votes needed to prevent a Democratic filibuster aimed at killing the oil exploration provisions.

"It is a real victory for the environmental movement all throughout this country," said Senator Dianne Feinstein of California. The Senate's move was a disappointment for U.S. President George W. Bush, who had lobbied for passage of the Arctic oil plan as part of a US$453-billion military spending bill that primarily funds U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Opponents of drilling accused Republicans of trying to force them into supporting the oil plan by including it in a must-pass defence bill. Instead, they balked at the manoeuvre and turned the tables on the majority party.

"At the 11th hour, the proponents of oil drilling have attached this provision where it does not belong in the hope that we will be intimidated into voting for something we don't believe is right," Senator Joseph Lieberman said. "I have too much a sense of responsibility to the Senate to be intimidated in this way to support something I believe is wrong."

Supporters of drilling have tried for decades to open a 600,000-hectare section of the refuge in northeastern Alaska to oil firms, arguing it would reduce America's dependence on foreign oil.

But environmentalists, Democratic lawmakers and Canadian officials all claim oil activity would harm wildlife in the pristine wilderness, including the migrating Porcupine caribou herd.

In particular, Ottawa is concerned drilling would threaten the livelihood of the Yukon's Vuntut Gwitchin First Nations people, who rely on the caribou for sustenance.

Supporters of drilling had appeared on the verge of success when the U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved the measure in a vote Monday.

Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, the Republicans' deputy whip and the party's biggest champion of Arctic drilling, had angrily vowed to keep the Senate in session through Christmas until it was approved.

"I want you to know we're going to be here until [New Years Day]. We're going to stay here until this is finished," Mr. Stevens said.

But amid the Democratic stalling, most Republicans appeared resigned to stripping the Arctic refuge provisions out of the military-spending bill and trying again to pass the drilling plan when Congress returns in the New Year.

"Obviously, the government of Canada will be extremely pleased" that the drilling provision has been removed from the legislation, said Jasmine Panthaky, a spokeswoman for the Canadian Embassy in Washington.

"It reflects our opposition to the opening of oil and gas development in the Arctic refuge. We intend to continue to monitor developments and oppose any measures that may still allow for drilling in the [caribou] calving grounds."

Ted Stevens was born November 18th, 1118. Obviously he was all for raping the land at one time but something must have changed or he wouldn’t be under indictment at the moment.

Oil, buried treasures, entrances to underground civilizations. Not sure what they’re after in the Great White North but they’re definitely after something. It’s no coincidence the official coordinates of the Arctic Circle are 33 and 66 degrees.

Like Australia, Alaska comes up a lot for us and has been turning up a fair bit lately. The last time was mid August regarding a volcano

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Aug. 17) - One of Alaska's most active volcanoes could be working toward a massive eruption that could affect air travel but was not expected to threaten any of the towns in the area, scientists said Thursday.

So while I was reading up on old dreams and things regarding Alaska I was reminded of this from the Whittier Kodiak blog:

The two huge buildings that dominate Whittier were built after World War II. The Hodge Building (now Begich Towers) was built for housing soldiers and the Buckner Building, completed in 1953, was called the "city under one roof". It was once the largest building in Alaska. The port remained an active Army facility until 1960.

Whittier was incorporated in 1969. The Begich Building is now a condominium, and houses nearly all of Whittier's residents.

Begich Towers and the fact that it houses nearly all the residents of Whittier gives me an uneasy feeling. I thought Begich must be an Inuit word, but it sounded German to me. Perhaps because when you read it fast it looks a lot like Reich. In any case, it brings up images of detainment camps.

After reading the following, I’m assuming Begich Towers was named after Nick Begich:

Mark Begich (born 1962) is an American Democratic politician and the current mayor of Anchorage, Alaska.

Born in Anchorage at the old Providence Hospital, Begich is the city's first Alaskan-born mayor. He is the son of U.S. Representative Nick Begich, who died in a plane crash with U.S. House Majority Leader Hale Boggs in 1972, and Pegge Begich. The fourth child of six, he has two sisters and three brothers. His paternal grandfather John Begich immigrated to the United States from Croatia in 1911.

Tesla is also from Croatia and 1911 is another one of those triggers like 59432 and 118.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was the first I had ever heard of the Begich family but they certainly have made a name for themselves in the political arena of Alaska. Odd that Ted Stevens survived a plane crash and another prominent Alaskan politician was also involved in a plane crash, his outcome not so fortunate.
Around the same time I was reading about the usual, UFO’s, HAARP, mysteries in general, and came across a conference on those subjects.
One of the speakers is none other than Dr Nick Begich, son of U.S. Representative Nick Begich Sr. I saw the name and thought it sounded familiar then read he lived in Alaska and it clicked.
Dr. Nick BEGICH - is the eldest son of the late United States Congressman from Alaska, Nick Begich Sr. He has been pursuing independent research in the sciences and politics for most of his adult life. He co-authored with Jeane Manning Angels Don't Play This HAARP. Begich has also authored Earth Rising – The Revolution: Toward a Thousand Years of Peace and his latest book Earth Rising II– The Betrayal of Science, Society and the Soul with the late James Roderick. He is also the editor of Earthpulse Flashpoints. Married to Shelah Begich-Slade, they have five children and live in Alaska.
Makes me wonder why his dad was killed in a plane crash.
