"TOPOFF 4" (Top Official 4), as the exercise is called, will be held between October 15-20, Deputy Administrator for National Preparedness Dennis Schrader told the House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security.

Lots of tragedies transpire around the globe daily. Some we pick up on, some we don’t. The funny thing is, the ones we pick up on always end up being the same ones linked to some sort of covert underhandedness at the end of the day. I have a feeling this is going to be one of those situations.

…It’s at this stage they wheel my Grandmother Mary’s body into the same room and we do our thing. Whilst we are doing this I notice my brother and sister aren’t there, just my mum and myself stood near grandmother’s body. As we turn to walk away suddenly my grandmother sits up and starts slowly talking to us. For some reason this didn’t faze us or freak us out. Grandmother starts talking to my mum and says, “Do you remember (the name of a person I don’t recall), a female who lived down the road?” Mum said "yes" so grandmother talks more. She said “It wasn’t her real name” (it sounded like Ray-Arlington? Acington? Acton?). I said to grandma “Why is this important enough to come back and mention and who are they and why?” Grandmother said, "Because of the big fire".

Okay the last time I scrutinized this dream it led to France, London, Texas and Virginia, but that kind of thing happens a lot. And who’s to say it still doesn’t lead to one or all of those places. Could be the multi-layered thing or I could be way off base on all accounts. This is nothing but a big old guessing game full of speculation and conjecture. CSI Dreamland. Sometimes you get concrete proof, sometimes you don’t. And sometimes you just have to go with what your gut says. My gut says a lot of names are coming up relating to these fires and Purpleaura’s dream, among other factors.

Purpleaura’s grandmother was named Mary, I had a great-grandmother named Mary, and my grandmother’s middle name was Mary. Not all that unusual especially if your roots are in the UK and/or catholic. What is unusual, to me at least, was seeing Governor Terminator broadcasting from Mather California today, since that was the surname of one of my grandmothers Mary. It was also the name of a company Purpleaura used to work for back in the UK. And another place I’ve never heard of until today.

I dreamt that I opened my email and something was in the folder at the end of the list. The name of the folder, which was called Florida, was bolded so I knew it was unopened and recent. I looked at it wondering what it was supposed to be called and thought I could move the word Florida to the side with my mind so I could see underneath it. That didn't work too well so I decided just to open it. The Florida folder contained a whole bunch of other folders, the first one was named Oranges and I don't recall the rest. That was it. I couldn't wait to get up to see what the last folder is called in my email and it's "Search Folders" so not sure what that's supposed to mean.
Agreed, Florida and oranges go together like Georgia and peaches, no big revelation there. But for some reason Orange drew me to Orange County California. Florida seemed too obvious.

I was just looking at Bopp's which I haven't done for a long time and saw a post referring to Crazy Kevin Martin, the self proclaimed meteorologist from Orange County CA.
That’s another story I won’t get into.
To add to that, a dream I had of oranges some time ago, mentioned in the Casablanca blog, came to Purpleaura last Saturday, (the same night I had the Florida oranges dream) for no apparent reason. At the time.

Immediately upon hearing of the recent blaze, I couldn’t help but re-live the evening of September 29th all over again. I was freaking, way more than Purpleaura it seemed. Here I was watching practically everything around her burn to the ground on TV, and she’s calmly packing up three kids, one dog and a lifetime of memories into one vehicle, all while awaiting evacuation orders. She and hubby were reminiscing (for lack of a better term) just last night, then she checks the headlines and sees this:

Up until the fiery crash in the tunnel two weeks ago I had never heard of Santa Clarita. Nevertheless I spent a good portion of that day researching it, wondering if the dream of the accident scene was one in the same (see Dream Medley blog). That one’s still up in the air.
A week later, early in the morning and still dozing, BWB has the news on and I hear of yet another major tragedy to hit Santa Clarita. I wasn’t dozing long.

Fire officials are now stating that the Orange County Santiago fire was purposely set and there is speculation that other fires may have also been deliberate. See Interactive Map
Fire officials found three separate “points of origin,” all near the intersection of Silverado Canyon Road and Santiago Canyon Road. Two were on one side of the road, and the third was on the other. “Whoever did this knew what they were doing,” said Kris Concepcion, a fire authority battalion chief. Also, the fire traveled 3 miles in its first 20 minutes when it was ignited about 6 p.m. Sunday, he said.
We are NOT implying that the California fires are an act of terrorism however; the threat of pyro-terrorist attacks pose a significant risk to the U.S. and the fires in California and in Greece earlier this year should be a wake-up call.
In 2003 an FBI memo alerted law enforcement agencies that an al-Qaeda terrorist being held in detention had talked of masterminding a plot to set a series of devastating forest fires around the western United States.
It was reported that the detainee, who was not identified, said the plan involved three or four people setting wildfires using timed devices in Colorado, Montana, Utah and Wyoming that would detonate in forests and grasslands after the operatives had left the country.
“The detainee believed that significant damage to the U.S. economy would result and once it was realized that the fires were terrorist acts, U.S. citizens would put pressure on the U.S. government enforcement agencies last month that an al-Qaeda terrorist now in detention had talked of masterminding a plot to set a series of devastating forest fires around the western United States.

The fact the fires were started during Santa Ana season could be further testament to the fact this was a well thought out plan. Fire is tough to battle in any situation. Add hot, dry, desert winds gusting to 80mph and it’s the proverbial recipe for disaster.

What has me the most perplexed concerns the picture below. This happens with every single catastrophe and I suppose the fires raging in California should be no different. I will admit I know very little about the inner workings of fire, so how is it a few houses can be left completely intact, front lawns green and vibrant, in the midst of all this destruction? Tornadoes I can understand, they follow a path. As far as hurricanes and earthquakes go, well some structures are just built better than others. Fire is hot and melts things, regardless of how sturdy the construction. And fire does not generally follow a path, not this detailed of a path at least. No, fire eats everything in its way and then some. Could be me but I happen to find this photo extremely bizarre and a little disturbing.

Lastly is a dream of Purpleaura’s that continues to resurface and has emerged once again.

In the dream there seems to be many things happening on many levels. I'm at home in my backyard (my real life backyard {at the time of this dream that was Los Angeles}). It jumps and I’m aware of wild fires all around in the distance, then I look up and see a big, black mushroom cloud also in the distance. I knew someone had detonated it.
The next minute I see truckloads of soldiers coming towards us. Some are dressed in black uniforms and were carrying machine guns. They were rounding people up and putting them into box cars.
I gathered my kids up and managed to get away and headed in the opposite direction from them. I felt we were heading nearer the sea. Then all of sudden I heard a voice saying, “You should be going in the opposite direction. There is a tsunami coming and you have to be 30 miles inland”.
Well I start to turn and for some reason I knew that the soldiers were taking them in, and for some reason, it felt like it was the desert they were going to. I knew I had to go on the river, the quickest way there. There were others on the river but I didn’t have any transport for myself and kids to travel on. Next I find large steel oxygen canisters. I tied them all together and we were riding the waves on the river. Then all of sudden we were riding quad bikes on the water, although they only had 3 wheels.
We get to a quiet town and there is water rising (flooding), touching the steps of people’s homes. We carried on and went to another town; these buildings reminded me of old Deep South white wooden homes, with back porches. There was an old man fishing quietly and happily in the water, but the water is rising so we decide to leave and end up in a big city. It reminded me of space age city, and they were unaware of the tsunami about to hit. It was weird, hubby was writing to my father, telling him we were in Italy, but in fact we were already in another city.
It switches and I am the child and I am listening to a mother saying she would like to see her dad. He was Geppetto who made Pinocchio. She is worried that when people find out what was about to happen, there would be so much panic that the city would be gridlocked and we wouldn’t be able to leave before the tsunami hit.
It jumps again and now we decide to stay and see mother’s father, Geppetto, and we reserve a room. (It kept switching places of me being mother and child). It felt like a hotel, on the top floors where the waters wouldn’t reach would be safe. My number looked like 59432 on the room key I had reserved. As to the who and why, I guess we wait and see. I have my usual theories on the who, the why’s still a little foggy. One thing that’s clear is more will come of this, of that I am certain.
