Former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto was killed Thursday in an apparent suicide attack at a campaign rally in which at least 20 others died.
Bhutto died around 6:16 p.m. local time (8:16 a.m. ET) at Rawalpindi General Hospital after undergoing emergency surgery for wounds sustained in the attack at the city's Liaqat Bagh park, her senior spokesman Farhatullah Babar said.

I guess this explains the vest and the hinky vibes surrounding Pakistan. I think it would be safe to say anybody visiting there at the moment would be considered to be immersed in hot water, so that may answer that question as well. Here’s hoping they make it back safe and unharmed and the situation does not escalate further.
Purpleaura had a lot of other interesting theories on that dream, most of them personal but right on the money as usual. However we were both still questioning the coffee stain and what it represented. I mentioned to her yesterday that maybe the crescent had something to do with a moon phase, so I looked it up at Symbols.com and learned a crescent is used on the flags of most Islamic countries, often in conjunction with a star representing Venus, Pakistan included. I’m going to assume that was at least part of the meaning of the stain.
On a completely different topic but still regarding the same dream, I had meant to look into Robert Crumb a little more, creator of the Keep on Truckin’ guy, but time constraints made that difficult. I saw the movie Crumb when it came out so I had a fairly good grasp on his personality and career, but didn’t see how any of that fit into the dream. Last night while responding to Purpleaura’s thoughts I was experiencing what I thought was déjà vu while explaining what the classmate meant to me. A search of her name turned up regarding a different dream, another of the saga variety, having to due with a copier or printing press. Her name is Janice. Not until then did I recall the general plot of that dream, the printing press later became the main focus (which I surmised to be a Gutenberg and brought up all kinds of issues that I won’t get into right now), but as I was reminded it mostly involved looking for my lost wallet. Interesting that theme came up in this latest dream too. This is some of what I wrote to Purpleaura and why Janice made an appearance at that time:

Oh man, this just came back to me (I was writing way below this but it belongs here). Comic books again. When I was in grade 6, a classmate named Janice and I started "publishing" our own comic books. They were blatant plagiarism, all we were doing was tracing and copying Archie comic books. I wanted to make my own but Janice talked me into doing it the easy way and since I was easily swayed back then, I went along with her. But even at that age I didn't feel right about it. What I find even more peculiar was the teachers thought it was such a good idea, they allowed me to sit out in the hall, between classes, selling my comic books. They even set me up real nice with a table and chair and they let us use the Gestetner to mass produce our wares.

That might explain the girls at the table. As I mentioned I didn’t feel right at all about trying to pull a fast one on my classmates so I have to wonder if that’s what the situation in the dream is saying.
After that I decided to look into Robert Crumb and nearly fell out of my chair when I read this:
Robert Crumb was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He grew up in an unhappy family, surrounded by artistic brothers and sisters, which was chronicled in the 1994 Terry Zwigoff documentary film Crumb. His older brother, Charles Crumb, was an avid comic book fan and relentlessly pushed Robert to draw comic books from childhood into their teenage years. Together they created a comic called Foo; they attempted to sell it at their school and even door to door in their neighborhood, but Robert Crumb has said that they had little success. Eventually, Charles gave up drawing, but Robert kept at it.

The last recordings Joplin completed were "Mercedes Benz" and a birthday greeting for John Lennon on October 1, 1970, Happy Trails composed by Dale Evans. Lennon, whose birthday was October 9, later told Dick Cavett that her taped greeting arrived at his home after her death
The last verse of Don McLean's 1971 folk-rock song "American Pie" is believed to be referring to Joplin, when it says: "I met a girl who sang the blues, and I asked her for some happy news. She just smiled and turned away...

It was the song American Pie that tied everything together for me in the John Lennon Pole Shift theory so those two items were a bit…no, a lot freaky to say the least. Not to mention the Janis / Janice connection. And the fact that when I used to post regularly at a forum a few years ago I always used Happy Trails as a sign off. I don't know why, the song and/or phrase hold no significance to me and I am not of the Dale Evans generation.
Another portion of the dream I didn’t get into were the initials JC. I work with somebody who also has those initials and that’s what I call him much of the time, he was the one who made the comment about the vest. I wondered in the dream, if I was supposed to pay attention to that, why wasn’t I shown this JC, somebody I would relate those initials to immediately? I was told if I saw him sitting in that room I would have just assumed it was work related and meant nothing out of the ordinary. I would have related the vest to him and not given it another thought. Apparently I needed to be shown somebody who would really make me think and undergo a little further investigating.
Why I even bring that up is because it was a random conversation with him that gave me the answer I was looking for regarding the printing press dream. For about 2 weeks after that dream I had no idea what the piece of machinery was that I saw, he started talking about old copiers and printers, that dream flashed back into my head and I knew the machinery in question was a printing press.
So whether this all ties together somehow with what’s going on in Pakistan, or they’re separate events, who knows for sure. If they are not separate events, then what could it mean? Purpleaura’s Napoleon / martial law dream has us both concerned. Al Qaeda has already taken credit for the assassination and as far as I and many others are concerned, that organization doesn’t even exist as the entity we have been led to believe they are. Especially not with Bin laden at the helm. They do indeed exist and there’s somebody at the helm all right, but it is definately not him.

“We terminated the most precious American asset which vowed to defeat [the] mujahadeen,” Al-Qaeda’s commander and main spokesperson Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid told Adnkronos International (AKI) in a phone call from an unknown location, speaking in faltering English. Al-Yazid is the main al-Qaeda commander in Afghanistan.
It is believed that the decision to kill Bhutto, who is the leader of the opposition Pakistan People's Party (PPP), was made by al-Qaeda No. 2, the Egyptian doctor, Ayman al-Zawahiri in October.
Death squads were allegedly constituted for the mission and ultimately one cell comprising a defunct Lashkar-i-Jhangvi’s Punjabi volunteer succeeded in killing Bhutto.

The Gutenberg Press brought up a few theories, like the famous bible for one. Is this the time Project Bluebeam comes into play? That allegedly begins with an historic discovery of an item that will show us everything we thought to be true about religion is in fact, not. Although many of us already feel the publication is mainly fiction, embellished fact at best, perhaps there will be concrete proof for those who aren't of the same mindset. How that would benefit the PTB remains a mystery for now, but one never knows what hair-brained scheme they’ll try to pull over our eyes on any given day.
Another thought is maybe a pole shift is upon us. Funny about that, according to the original dream I was under the impression a pole flip meant the earth flipped. A few weeks ago just before waking it was explained to me that the magnetic fields would flip, not the planet.
Whatever it is, it feels like it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

One last note. After finishing this blog I inserted the article at the beginning regarding Bhutto’s assassination and immediately took note of her time of death. 616 kept coming up a while ago so some research was in order. I first took note of it while looking into UFO sightings in my home town and found out an incident was reported on June 20, 1954, 4 days after the birth of my brother on June 16. I always did think he was an alien so that explained that, however that date remained in my mind for reasons other than a family member’s birthday, although I wasn’t exactly sure why.
It came up again when I learned George Reeves, the original Superman, died on that day under mysterious circumstances, and it came up yet again at work regarding the construction of a new headquarters for one of Canada’s premiere oil companies. This project is a very big deal from any angle you look at it and has proven to be a major headache to all involved.
I just went back to that email about 616 knowing I learned at the time some think it is the true number of satan, not 666. I wasn’t at all expecting to find more stuff about comic books and had completely forgotten about the George Reeves connection. From May 29, 2006:

This has got to be the fastest update on record. That was supposed to be the end of the blog. Not the theories, they’ll be ongoing, but the blog itself. I just went to make something to eat and while waiting for the soup to heat, turned on CNN. Rudy Giuliani was telling us the U.S. needed to go into Pakistan immediately to stabilize the people, government and country. Okay I thought, what’s up with that? Again I have to ask, don’t they have enough on their plate at the moment? Alrighty then, better find out how much oil Pakistan has.

According to Afghan, Iranian, and Turkish government sources, Hamid Karzai, the interim Prime Minister of Afghanistan, was a top adviser to the El Segundo, California-based UNOCAL Corporation which was negotiating with the Taliban to construct a Central Asia Gas (CentGas) pipeline from Turkmenistan through western Afghanistan to Pakistan.
Karzai, the leader of the southern Afghan Pashtun Durrani tribe, was a member of the mujaheddin that fought the Soviets during the 1980s. He was a top contact for the CIA and maintained close relations with CIA Director William Casey, Vice President George Bush, and their Pakistani Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) Service interlocutors. Later, Karzai and a number of his brothers moved to the United States under the auspices of the CIA. Karzai continued to serve the agency's interests, as well as those of the Bush Family and their oil friends in negotiating the CentGas deal, according to Middle East and South Asian sources.
When one peers beyond all of the rhetoric of the White House and Pentagon concerning the Taliban, a clear pattern emerges showing that construction of the trans-Afghan pipeline was a top priority of the Bush administration from the outset. Although UNOCAL claims it abandoned the pipeline project in December 1998, the series of meetings held between U.S., Pakistani, and Taliban officials after 1998, indicates the project was never off the table.
Quite to the contrary, recent meetings between U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan Wendy Chamberlain and that country's oil minister Usman Aminuddin indicate the pipeline project is international Project Number One for the Bush administration. Chamberlain, who maintains close ties to the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan (a one-time chief money conduit for the Taliban), has been pushing Pakistan to begin work on its Arabian Sea oil terminus for the pipeline.

Giving a new twist to last month's Karachi bombings that claimed nearly 140 lives, former premier Benazir Bhutto has said that a "child suicide bomber" followed by a car bomb might have been used in an attempt to assassinate her.
"Although it remains difficult to know for certain, I doubt that a suicide bomber was involved in the attack on me. I suspect, after talking to some of the injured, that the terrorists used a 'small child' as a ploy to get to me," Bhutto wrote in commentary for CNN.
"They (terrorists) were trying to hoist the child -- dressed in the colours of my party's flag -- onto my truck," Bhutto said, adding failing to do so they dropped the child near her vehicle.
"Some witnesses said the child had been rigged as a human bomb. I can't be sure. What followed was a massive explosion, killing scores immediately, tearing many bodies in half and sending blood, gore and flames up into the vehicle," she said.
"In less than a minute a second bomb -- reports later suggested a car bomb -- went off," she wrote.
Bhutto survived unhurt when the blasts killing nearly 140 people took place near her armoured truck in a huge procession she led in Karachi after setting foot on Pakistani soil on October 18 for the first time in eight years.
Questioning as to why the investigation were initially given to a police officer who was present when her husband was nearly tortured to death in 1999, she said the most worrying was the "adamant rejection by Islamabad of any assistance from the state-of-art forensic teams from FBI and Scotland Yard.
"There are precedents in Pakistan for such international assistance. Such teams were called in to investigate the mysterious and sudden death of Army Chief General Asif Nawaz and the Egyptian Embassy bombing in the '90s," Bhutto said.
She had called in international experts when her brother Murtaza was killed in what she said: "I believed was a conspiracy to destabilise my government in 1996."
But she absolved President Pervez Musharraf of a hand in it, saying the "sham" investigation of the massacre and the attempt by the ruling party to politically capitalise on this catastrophe are discomforting, but do not suggest his direct involvement.
It has now been more than two weeks since the "horrific assassination attempt" against her and the police have still not filed her complaint, she said, adding that they filed their own report without taking statements from eyewitnesses on the truck targeted.
